CANTO, Paulo C. Paulo C. Canto, 34, of Glastonbury, loving son of Maria Emilia (Campos) and Victor A. Pippo and of the late Jose R. Canto, entered into eternal life on Thursday (June 17, 2004) at New Britain General Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Hartford he had resided in East Hartford for many years prior to moving to Glastonbury 10 years ago. He was a graduate of East Hartford High School-Class of 1991, and was a member of the Youth HARC in Hartford. Paulo loved horses and watching movies, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his loving and caring family. Known as the "pure angel" to his family, Paulo is survived by his mother and step-father, Maria Emilia and Victor Pippo of Glastonbury; two brothers, Joe M. Canto and his wife, Emily, of Columbia, Victor C. Pippo of Glastonbury; a sister, Christina M. Burton and her husband, David, of Old Lyme; a niece, Sabrina M. Gorneau and her husband, Shaun; three nephews, Chaz M. Canto, Dylan J. Burton, Devin J. Burton; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral service will be Monday, June 21, at 9 a.m. from the D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Square, Hartford. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, June 20 from 1-4 p.m. only.
