Raymond Juneau Obituary
JUNEAU, Raymond O. Raymond O. Juneau, 61, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Margaret (Lapointe) Juneau, died Sunday, (April 3, 2005) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born September 15, 1943 in Manchester, son of Rose (Emond) Juneau of Marlboro, MA and the late Raymond H. Juneau, he had lived in Glastonbury for the past 15 years. He was a mechanic for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for 33 years and had served with the National Guard. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his three daughters and two sons-in-law, Brenda J. Juneau of Glastonbury, Debra L. and Danny-Lee Swatik of Vernon, Amy E. and David Lundberg of Manchester; a brother, Richard Juneau of Marlboro, MA; two sisters, Dolores Vanhorn of Santa Maria, CA, Alice Austin of Milford, MA; and two granddaughters, Ashley Stewart and Selena Swatik. Funeral service will be Thursday, April 7, 9 a.m. from the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rose Church, East Hartford. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, April 6 from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., Meriden 06450.

Grandpa,
I know it's been awhile, but it's never to late right? It's been so hard here without you and part of me still doesn't want to believe it's true. But since you haven't come home yet, I guess it is. I'm trying my hardest to make you proud. I started college and I'm doing okay. I know you always wanted the best for me and for everyone. I hope I can make you proud.. I love you grandpa.

We loved our father very much and when he got sick it broke our hearts to see him that way. Knwoing he is in a better place doesn't make things any easier for us but at least the suffering is over. We shall miss you dearly and know that we have always loved you and will continue to do so for the rest of our lives.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Juneau family, especially Margaret who was by dad's side for the past 7 months. The courage and strength both mom and dad showed was an inspiration. I feel furtunate to have witnessed such true love and devotion between two wonderful people. I will miss him dearly.
