To Sue's Family

Far too many years have past since we have been in touch with Sue. Our heart breaks to hear of her passing.

When we think of her, it makes us smile. SHE makes us smile. She was sweet and funny and genuine (She played cards pretty well, too!).

To her children, We extend our sympathy. You are in our thoughts.

Mom, words won't be able to express how much I will miss you from now on. In all of my 37 years with you, you've taught me many things and that kind of education, although it cost no money, was and IS the best gift that I think you have ever given me, and I could never begin to thank you enough for it. Between Kim, Jonathan, Carl, Lauren and myself, we will watch over Sarah and always remind her of you and your love for her. We will also make sure Grandma keep chugging along, for 90 years old and counting, she's tougher than the rest of us put together, but you knew that all too well. And when I have kids, they too will know all about you. I will think of you whenever I watch UCONN basketball, and I will think of you whenever I play softball(even though I call it baseball), because you always loved watching me play. The next home run I hit will be for you Mom. I will love and miss you for the rest of my life.

Kim, Marc and Carl,

I know that the past several weeks have been amungst the hardest you have ever had to deal with. I would like you to know that my family is here to help in any way possible. I have very fond memories of the house on Grissom RD. Swiming in the pool, lying around with Major waiting for the bus each morning. Susan always went above and beyond the call to make Lynn and I feel like we were at our own house with our own family. Susan truely is one of a kind. I hope you find resolution knowing that Susan is at peace and keeping a watchfull eye over us all.

God Bless!

Love,

Kim,Mark and Carl,

There are no words to describe Susan's and mine friendship. All I can say is that she was a extreamly loving, caring, fun, generious and kind person. My BEST FRIEND! We laughed alot, protected each other, cried with each other. There was nothing we couldn't say to each other. She was my sister I never had! I loved her with all my heart!

My heart aches for each of you as Susan loved her family with all of her being. She was so proud of Sarah. Sarah brought much joy to her heart even at the end. Kim, Mark and Carl...I love you all very much. I consider you all part of my family. Blessing to you all and know that Susan loved you each so dearly. She is free of pain now and with the Lord. May God bless you!

Love you,

Janet

Kim, Although I never had the pleasure of meeting your mother, I know how much she meant to you and how devastating it must be to have lost her. Keep your friends and family close by to comfort you, and take special care of yourself. Love, Regina (Robin's sister)

I worked with Sue when she worked in the Loss Control Department at The Hartford. Sue was the most pleasant person that you could meet and the nicest. Sue always brightened up my day with her smile. I am very sorry for your loss.

My deepest sympathies to Sue's family.

I worked with her at the East

Hartford VNA.

We were both single moms and shared many times talking about our families. Sue loved her family. She was a hard worker and a fun person to be around.

May all the special memories you have bring you comfort at this time.

God bless.

To Sue's children (whom I never met)and Carl: My deepest sympathy on the death of your mother and sister. I have many old and fond memories of her--from meeting her on the first day of kindergarten--I even remember the outfit she was wearing--it was brown, to hanging around Main St. on Thurs. nights looking for boys, to leading St. Mary's Junior Choir down the aisle (at least Sue could sing), to "acting" (more like acting up) in the St. Mary's Christmas Eve pageant. Recently, she worked in my mother's doctor's office and was helpful to me several times. I know you'll miss her as will I. Even though I've had little contact with her in recent years, she was an important part of my Manchester childhood.

Kim and Marc,

I'm sorry to here about Susan. Patsy and I had a chance to visit her in January when we came to Hartford. Susan had such a positive attitude and was a joy to visit. I wish she had more time to spread around her zest for life. We are glad she was treated well at the hospital and that we had the chance to meet with her. If you need anything or if we can help in any way don't hesitate to contact us. Love Patsy & Jim
