ARDUINI, Frank W. Frank W. Arduini, 77, of New Britain, passed away on January 31, 2007 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut (NBGH). Frank was the eldest son of the late Paul and Domenica (Valleriano) Arduini of New Britain. Frank was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the National Guard, stationed in Germany. He was retired from both St. Francis Hospital and most recently N.B. General Hospital. Everyone who went in and out of these hospitals would have met him. He was a life long member of St. Ann Church, the Elks Club, American Legion, Italian Fraternal Society and Mount Carmel Society. Frank's love for his family was his greatest gift. Known to everyone as "Pop Pop". Frank loved vacation and the holiday season, as it brought his "famiglia" together. Pop Pop was Santa to his grandchildren and many other children. His joy for life touched us all. Pop Pop you will be greatly missed. Your passing has saddened many but our memory of you will live with us forever. Frank is survived by his loving daughter, Mary Boluc and her husband Richard M., of Newington; his granddaughter Jennifer Bolduc and her fiancé Paul Fiore, of Old Saybrook, his grandson Timothy Bolduc, of Hartford; his two brothers, Victor H. Arduini, of New Britain and John F. Arduini, of Plainville, and his "favorite sister" Gloria Arduini, of Plainville along with several nieces nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Albert J. Arduini. The funeral service will begin at 8:30 a.m, on Saturday February 3, from the NEW BRITAIN MEMORIAL/ DONALD D. SAGARINO FUNERAL HOME, 444 Farmington Ave, New Britain. Followed by a mass of Christian burial at 9:30am, at St. Ann Church. Burial with military honors will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Family and friends may call TONIGHT, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
