HOLLAND, Phillip J. Phillip J. Holland, 79, of South Rd. in Southington died Monday (July 16, 2007) after a long illness at The Hospital of Central Connecticut at New Britain General. He was the husband of Cynthia (Manchak) Holland. Born September 11, 1927 in Naugatuck, to the late William W. and Anna (Soden) Holland he had lived in Southington for the past 20 years. He retired from New Britain General Hospital as a respiratory therapist and was a member of the Ancient Order of Hiberians and the American Legion of Southington. In addition to his wife Cynthia he leaves behind two brothers, Wade and Jack Holland; a sister, Noreen Snyder; his brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his step-dad, Joseph Lokites and his sister, Nancy. Funeral services will be held Friday July 20, at 9:15 a.m. from the Plantsville Memorial Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St. Plantsville with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church, Plantsville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Thursday evening, July 19 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
