Alexander "Alex" Blouin, 20, of Ellisville and Hattiesburg, was called home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Alex was the beloved son of Scott and Janet Blouin, and beloved brother of Andrew Blouin. Alex loved the Lord Jesus Christ and Alex shared his unconditional love for all people. Alex was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church family, and Alex also dearly loved his extended family in Ellisville.

Alex loved life, and he expressed his love of life in his many interests. Alex loved art, travel, music, and many sports, especially swimming, fishing, hiking, and biking. Most of all, Alex loved the Lord, his family and friends, and Alex continually showed his love, kindness, and gentleness to all people. Alex was a tenderhearted soul, and he will be greatly missed by many, many people. His young life was a gift and a treasure from God, and Alex positively touched so many. Alex's memory will be greatly treasured.

Alex was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jane Wagner, and his paternal grandfather, Marcel Blouin. Alex is survived by his paternal grandfather, William Wagner, and his maternal grandmother Verna Blouin, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral arrangements will be handled by Hulett Winstead Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hattiesburg. Funeral will be Tuesday, April 2, at 12 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow immediately at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
