Jack Holston


T. Jack Holston, 83, of Lumberton, Mississippi died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Holston was a retired tool pusher with Welltech in Victoria, Texas and also a retired heavy equipment operator with Pearl River County; a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church; and United States Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Nettie Anderson Holston; one son, James Donnie Davis; one grandson, Brett Schielder; three sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Delores "Bubbles" Holston of Lumberton, MS; four children, Debbie Rawls, David Rawls, Nancy Strahan, and Teresa Poston; one brother, James "Peanut" Holston; 10 grandchildren and fifteen great granchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 2, 2013 at White Funeral Home, 102 North 1st Street, Lumberton, MS 39455 with Brother Jesse Ladner and Brother Brad Miles officiatingat the service. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home.
