Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at First Presbyterian Church for Mr. James P. Bolton, 94, of Hattiesburg.

He died Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Forrest General Hospital.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

Mr. Bolton was a retired Oil Jobber with Amoco Oil Co. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church where he served as a Deacon, Elder, and was former Sunday School Superintendent. He was the oldest member of the Leonard Lowery Sunday School Class. He was a graduate of Mississippi State University, a U.S. Army Veteran of W.W. II and Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mable Lipscomb Bolton; second wife, Kathryn Boatmon Bolton; a daughter, Janet Lipscomb Bolton; and a granddaughter, Christy Scruggs Zaremba.

He is survived by a son, William Hugh Bolton (Pam); a daughter, Mary Ann Scruggs (Billy) all of Hattiesburg; two grandchildren, Kim Domingue and Monica Swanzy; a step-grandson, Heath Graham; four great-grandchildren, Morgan Domingue, Caden Zaremba, Megan and Luke Henry Swanzy.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, French Camp Academy, or Palmer Home for Children in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Monday at First Presbyterian Church.
