Gerri Broome, 68, died Monday, September 03, 2012 at Wesley Medical Center. Services will be Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Moore Funeral Chapel in Hattiesburg followed by burial in Richburg Cemetery.
Mrs. Broome retired as a direct care worker with Ellisville State School and worked at Be a Kid Daycare in Purvis.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bennie McCraney.
She is survived by three daughters and son-in-laws, Sharen and Stephen Garrard of Oak Grove, Karen and Lee Pullen of Oak Grove, and Nancy and Joe Eddins of Lucedale; four grandchildren, Daniel Eddins, Dathan Eddins, Breanna Garrard, and Baleigh Garrard; her mother, Vina McCraney of Oak Grove; three sisters, Faye (Warren) Atkins of Oak Grove, Betty (Luther) Dement of Oak Grove, and Pam Sumrall of Oak Grove; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 5:30 - 9 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
