John Keyes

Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

John Keyes, 66, of Santa Rosa Beach, FL (formerly of Hattiesburg), died November 4, 2013, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Destin. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, November 7, 2013, at Highland Cemetery.

Mr. Keyes was a self-employed painter for 30 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was of the Methodist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. John W. Keyes.

He is survived by his wife, Agnes Keyes of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; two sons, John D. (Christy) Keyes Jr. of Birmingham, AL and Andrew D. Keyes of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Rebecca, Denton and Kallie Keyes; two sisters, Skip Dews of Hattiesburg and Carol Burnham of Leesburg, Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.
