Joseph "Joe" Liverett

Petal

Joseph "Joe" Liverett, 87, of Petal, died February 27, 2013 at Wesley Medical Center. Visitation will be Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Moore Funeral Home in Petal, from 1:30 - 3 p.m., with services immediately following. Burial will be in Eastabuchie Cemetery.

Mr. Liverett was a carpenter and a member of Strong Tower Worship Center Church of God. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II on the U.S. Enterprise, was a regular attendee of the Petal Senior Citizen Center and was a member of the VFW.

Joe was preceded in death by a son, Roy Liverett; his parents, Jim and Lizzie Liverett; two brothers; and three sisters.

He is survived by two sons, Albert Liverett and his wife, Betty, of Laurel and Ron Liverett of Petal; two daughters, Sue Boutwell and Martha Parker both of Petal; two sisters, Ila Stephens and Lila Saucier both of Petal; grandchildren, Amanda Boutwell, Amber Boutwell, Alex Parker, Joshua Ryan Parker, Chris (Alicia) Hollifield and Blaine (Kim) Hollifield; great-granddaughter, Deanna Boutwell; and former wives, Bobbie Liverett and Elsie Hooks.
