Services for Mrs. Minnie Lee Freeman-Creech, 89, of Beaumont, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 4, 2012, at Leaf River Missionary Baptist Church in Beaumont. Bro. Danny Collins and Bro. Jessie Ladner will officiate. Burial will follow in the Beaumont Cemetery. Mrs. Creech departed this life on Thursday, November 1, 2012, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She never met a stranger and was loved by everyone. She has left a legacy of love for her Lord and her family.
Mrs. Creech was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifton M. Freeman and second husband, Lloyd Creech; parents, Gus Lott and Mary Jordan Lott; grandchildren, Kevin and Shelly Freeman, Ray Mizell and Lydia Breland; sister, Eddie Jean Lee; brothers, Alfred and Edmond Lott.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Marvin (Jerry) Freeman, and Elton (Faye) Freeman of Beaumont and Kenneth (Cindi) Freeman of Runnelstown; seven daughters, Margaret (Dewey Don) Breland, Faye Wells, Elaine Brannon, Minnie (Wendol) Mizell, Gail (Joe) Pittman and Darlene (Danny) Collins all of Beaumont and Dorothy (Douglas) Harvison of McLain; six brothers, Michael Lott, Stennis Lott, Wayne Lott, Dewitt Lott, and James Lott all of Beaumont and Charles Lott of Hattiesburg; three sisters, Lillian Breland of Hattiesburg, Mary Alice Price of Sand Hill and Lilly Roberts of Beaumont, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Jones & Son Funeral Home in Beaumont, Saturday, November 3, from 5:30-10:00 p.m.
