Donald Bryant McCrory, 55, of Columbia, Mississippi, departed this life on Wednesday, the 3rd of October, in the presence of his family.
Don was born the 10th day of January, 1957, in Mobile, Alabama. He graduated from The Arnold School and attended Spring Hill College, The University of South Alabama, and The University of Mobile.
Preceding him in death is his mother, Peggy Crawford Kossow.
Surviving family members include his father, Dr. William B. McCrory, Jr., Huntsville, AL; stepfather, Clarence Kossow and his wife, Shirley; brother and sister-in-law, Dr. W. Alan and Molly McCrory, Huntsville, AL; nieces, Megan McCrory and Emily McCrory, both of Daphne, AL, and Cayla Whitehurst, Huntsville, AL; nephew, Cole Whitehurst, Huntsville, AL; aunt, Dr. Ellann McCrory, Ft. Payne, AL; uncle, Lee McCrory and his wife, Bonnie, Semmes, AL; and cousins, Colin and Esther Petronis, Mobile, AL, Eric Petronis and Carl Petronis, both of Mobile, AL, and Scott Crawford, Gulf Shores, AL.
Services were held at 2:30 p.m., on the 4th day of October, at Magnolia Cemetery in Greenville, AL. with the Reverend Moore officiating.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff, nurses, and physicians of Song Health and Rehab, Columbia, MS, and Wesley Medical Center, Hattiesburg, MS, for providing extraordinary care and support for Don and his family, and they would also like to recognize the assistance provided by White Funeral Home, Poplarville, MS, and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home, Greenville, AL.
