Annie Mae (Laird) Ford
Annie Mae (Laird) Ford, 79, of Brooklyn (formerly of Wiggins), died June 17, 2013, at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans. Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, June 21, 2013 at Moore Funeral Chapel in Wiggins followed by burial in Paramount Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Ford was a member of Paramount Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lavester "Vat" Ford; her parents, Joseph William Laird, Sr. and Georgia Ann (Freeman) Laird; siblings, Ernest Buren Laird, Rayburn Louin Laird (Pauline), James Otis Laird (Jewel), Frances Lucille Hickman (Woodrow), Vallie Ernestine Bond (Mert), Mildred Elizabeth Bond (Calvin), Ruby Leona Allison (Richard), Joseph William "JW" Laird, Jr. (Evelyn) and Iva Ree Laird; half siblings, Mary Agnes Rustin (Jim), William Erastus "Ras" Laird (Irene) and Joseph Clarence Laird (Eliza).
She is survived by three children, Randy Ford and his wife, Barbara, of Meridian, Debbie Tupman and her husband, Chris, of Hattiesburg and Johnny Ford and his wife, Vonda, of Wiggins; five grandchildren, Lisa Stephenson (Joey), LeAnn Lawrence, Michael Paul Tupman, Megan Kirk and Lauren Warren (Heath); seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Melvin Laird of Oregon.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
