Diane Thomae (February 15, 1958 - December 26, 2013)

Diane Thomae passed away in Oaxaca, Mexico on December 26th, 2013. A memorial service will be held in celebration of her life on Tuesday, December 31 at 11:00 am at Court Street Methodist Church in Hattiesburg (609 Southern Avenue).

Diane grew up in Jonesville, LA and graduated from Block High School. She attended Northeastern University of Louisiana and graduated from University of Oklahoma. She has spent her life serving others both in the health care field and most recently, as a tutor for the children of missionaries in Mexico.

Diane is survived by her parents, Dick and Lillian Thomae of Hattiesburg; her brother & sister-in-law, David and Jan Thomae of London, England; her sister, Donna Thomae of Bogue Chitto, MS; her sister and brother-in-law, Laura & Steve Young of Nashville, TN; her three nephews and three nieces and many other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for those who wish, to donate to one of the two ministries in which Diane volunteered: Martin & Karen Arroyo in Juxtlajuaca, Mexico OR Christian Services, Hattiesburg, MS.
