T. Roscoe Hearon, Jr.

Hattiesburg, MS

Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at First Presbyterian Church for Mr. T. Roscoe Hearon, Jr., 81, of Hattiesburg.

He died Monday, February 24, 2014 at University of South Alabama Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Burial will be in Roseland Park Cemetery with military honors rites performed by the VFW Post 3036 honor guard.

Mr. Hearon was a former Fixed Base Operator at the Hattiesburg Municipal Airport and owner of Hearon Auto Parts Distributing. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and a member of First Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theron Roscoe and Claire Steadman Hearon.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Rawls Hearon of Hattiesburg; sister and brother-in-law, Claire H. and J.W. Mangum, Jr. of Hattiesburg, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to French Camp Academy, 1 Fine Place, French Camp, MS 39745, Palmer Home for Children, PO Box 746, Columbus, MS 39703, or Presbyterian Christian School, 103 WSF Tatum Rd., Hattiesburg, MS 39401.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Friday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home and beginning at 10:00 AM Saturday at First Presbyterian Church.
