You have always been my sister

You sure had a life well lived baby girl. I hate you had to suffer. Often times growing up you were my role model and heck I was older than you. We were so different in our ways but always clicked together no matter the time apart we had. You just wanted to live life to the fullest all hours of the day and I would be backing up saying hey ... Be careful and don't do that and things like I don't think we should. I was the one that would always worry and you said who cares I'm doing it whatever happen happens lol. I always looked up to you for that. You taught me to live every day like it was your last and if it weren't for you I would probably not have done everything that I wanted to do but was scared to. I know you are in safe hands please watch over me as I protect our country. I love you baby girl wish I still had you by my side and protecting me around every corner. Rest in peace Olivia . You will never be forgotten by me. You'd love the memorial tattoo I'm getting for you . And yes it will be purple lol. Love your pookie bear.

Your little sister says to me daily, "I miss Olivia ". She loved you dearly and I remind her everyday where you are and that she will see you again. Then I remind her that you were never a girl of tears, but always of smiles and laughter and that she can see you everyone she smiles and helps others laugh.

Olivia I remember the labor of having you. And the moment you were born 12:21 am Feb 12th 2000. I will forever miss you. The love that your bone marrow donor gave was wonderful. And then she met you. She said even if you were in the hospital it didn't matter. All she wanted was a chance to hold ur hand and tell you she loves you. Then the day after she left your big sister came to visit. With both people even through your weakest moments you pushed yourself to talk and laugh with them. On the 8th of April 2016 you finally got to come home to your very rm where you were comfortable. You told me what you wanted done at your going away celebration. The last thing you said to me around 12:30 aplril 9th was "mom I know this is going to b sad. Please mom make it happy let people see the real me don't put me n the ground and leave me. My sweet Olivia all your family especially me and your father honored your wishes. I missed you at 12:03 April 9th 2016. You passed at 12:02 that very day. I love you and you will forever be missed.

Dear Olivia,

I never had the privilege of meeting you, but I've known your mother since she was a tiny girl, about five years old. Through her, I feel as though I was personally acquainted with you. You will be missed by those who loved you and also by those of us who never had the opportunity to meet in person. However, we have the confidence you are in a better place than we are and know you are now without pain and get to actually be with Jesus. This in no way takes away from the fact your family will continue to miss your presence long after you're gone, but will bring a measure of peace knowing you're in excellent hands. When I get there, I promise to look you up and we'll have a nice chat and I'll spill the beans on exactly what your mama was like as a young girl. JK - we loved your mother then and love her still. Your "unmet" friend, Judy McCollough

My heart hurts for you, her family. It never seems fair for a child to precede her parents in death. She rests now in the dearest arms anyone will ever know, but this earth is poorer for her home going. May God comfort you with His peace that passes all understanding.
