Franklin Mayhew, 65, of Slemp, died Friday, Nov. 15 at the Hazard ARH medical center.
His is survived by sons Brian and Kevin Mayhew, both of Slemp; brothers Adolph Mayhew of Madisonville, Jimmy Mayhew of Slemp, and Walter Mayhew of Madisonville; sister Ruth Martin of Texas; along with five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Brashear Callahan Funeral home of Viper. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Nov. 17 at the Big Leatherwood First Baptist Church with Jim Fields, Scotty Halcomb, and Eddie Williams officiating. Burial was at the Mayhew Family Cemetery in Slemp.
