Kilburn, Michael  
Michael Dale Kilburn, 49, of Viper, passed away on April 24, at his residence. He was the son of Danny Dale Kilburn and the late Henrietta Hall Kilburn. He is also survived by his wife: Billy Gail Noble Kilburn; two brothers: David Preston Kilburn & Thurman Ray Kilburn; four nephews: Daniel James Kilburn, Michael David Kilburn, Hiram Noble Jr & Shawn David Noble; one niece: Judy Kalee Noble; one great niece: McKena Kay Kerans and a host of family & friends. Arrangements were handled by the Maggard Brothers Funeral Home in Hazard. No services were held.

Lawson, Brenda  
Brenda Sue Lawson, 60, departed this life on Sunday April 19, at the Hazard A.R.H. Brenda was born in Hazard the daughter of the late Earl Fugate and the late Katie Neace Fugate. Brenda was also preceded in death by her Husband, Carl Lawson; Brother, Raymond Fugate. Mrs. Brenda Sue Lawson leaves the following relatives surviving: Two Daughters, Beverly Barker of Viper and Valerie Lawson of Mallie; Brother, Brownloe Fugate of Hazard; Four Sisters, Mary Lou Fugate of Hazard, Laura Mae Eversole of Butterfly, Ola Faye Lawson of Florida and Margie Bush of Hazard; Five Grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends survive. Arrangements were handled by the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home in Hazard. Funeral Services for Mrs. Brenda Sue Lawson will be conducted on Wednesday, April 22, at 2 p.m. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on East Main Street with Eldon Miller officiating. The Interment will follow in Lawson Cemetery at Brownsfork. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Lawson, Geraldine  
Geraldine Williams Lawson, 80, of Slemp, passed away on April 28, at the Hazard Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Asby Williams and the late Dorothy Parks Williams. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Fletch Lawson. She is survived by four daughters, Virginia and Howard Williams, of Jeff, Jackie and Clenton Roberts, of Smilax, Cleta and Gary Williams, of Slemp, and Rose and Jeff Wells, of Smilax; four sons, Larry and Ann Lawson, of Wooton, Ricky and Sharon Lawson, of Slemp, James and Wanda Lawson, of Slemp, and Don and Lisa Lawson, of Slemp; two sisters, Nancy Carol Williams, of Ohio, and Peggy Ritchie, of Breathitt County; one brother, Eugene Williams of Ohio; 19 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Arrangements were handled by the Maggard Brothers' Funeral Home in Hazard. Family received friends after 5 p.m., Friday, May 1, at the Big Leatherwood Baptist Church, and funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, May 2, with Scotty Halcomb officiating. Interment was at the Clover Fork Cemetery at Slemp.

Milliner, Opal  
Opal L. Milliner, 88, passed away Monday, April 20. She was a retired dental receptionist, having worked many years for Dr. Paul Brooks. She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Milliner; brothers, Carl, Jimmy, Truman, and Vernon; sisters, Clarice and Beulah May; and a granddaughter, Christina Woods. Survivors include her daughter, Loretta "Jeannie" Woods; sisters, Nancy Pratt and Zella Combs; a brother, Clarence Ray Hurt; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements were handled by the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, where family received friends from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 23, and funeral services were held at 12 p.m., Friday, April 24. Burial was at the Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to Hosparus.

Ritchie, Beulah  
Beulah M. Ritchie, 83, formerly of Perry County, passed away on April 27, in Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Alex Smith and the late Nora Lee Spurlock Smith. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Ritchie; two sons, Richard and Buddy Ritchie; and a host of siblings. She is survived by two daughters, Lola Mercer, of Bunkerhill, Ind., and Shelia Wright, of Ellijay, Ga.; six sons, David and Shawn Ritchie, of Ellijay, Hershel and Jane Ritchie, of Springvalley, Ohio, William and Denece Ritchie, of Jamestown, Ohio, Lloyd and Kathy Ritchie, of Bowersville, Ohio, Jimmy and Phyllis Ritchie, of Macy, Ind., and Douglas Ritchie, of Ellijay; one sister, Myrtle Shelton, of Reform, Ala.; 22 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Arrangements were handled by the Maggard Brothers' Funeral Home in Hazard. family received friends after 10 a.m., Thursday, April 30, at the Combs Church of God, and funeral services followed directly after, with Roy Johnson officiating. Interment was at the Riverside Cemetery in Hazard.

Rowell, Ira  
Ira Crawford Rowell, 86, of Fayetteville, passed away April 21. Mr. Rowell retired from Delta Air Lines after 36 years of employment. Prior to that he served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Nannie Jo "Nan" Rowell; daughters, Sally Smith of Fayetteville, Julie Rowell of Newnan, Valerie Burrell and her husband Kevin of Sharpsburg; grandchildren, Todd Smith and his wife Natalie, Rob Smith and his wife Michelle, Andy Smith and his wife Janee, Zach Burrell; great grandchildren, Thomas Smith, Isaiah Smith, Brandon Smith and Kimberly Smith. A memorial service was held Saturday, April 25, at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Chambers and Steven Chambers officiating. Those wishing may sign the online guestbook at www.parrottfuneralhome.com . In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Sizemore, Margie  
Margie Sizemore, 83, departed this life on Thursday April 23. Margie was born in Little Leatherwood the daughter of the late Reason Griffie and the late Bell Smith Griffie. Margie was also preceded in death by her Husband, Jesse Sizemore; Brother, Arthur Bailey; Three Sisters, Linda Lou Hamilton, Lona Ingram and Maxine Chittum; Two Daughter-In-Laws, Pauline Maggard Sizemore and Sherry Schultz Sizemore. Mrs. Margie Sizemore leaves the following relatives surviving: Two Sons, Eugene Darrell Sizemore of Jackson County and Michael Sizemore & wife Lois Glomar; Two Daughters, Lorene Sizemore of Lothair and Patricia Ann Maggard & husband Earl of Jeff; Three Brothers, Lawrence Boggs of Little Leatherwood, Charles Boggs of Little Leatherwood and Larry Colon Boggs of Lothair; Sister, Lois Griffith of Little Leatherwood; Eight Grandchildren, Four Great Grandchildren, Two Great Great Grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends survive. Arrangements were ahndled by the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home in Hazard. Funeral Services for Mrs. Margie Sizemore will be conducted on Sunday April 26, at 2 p.m. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Danny Dixon and Charles Ed Smith officiating. The Interment will follow in the Arch Halcomb Cemetery located at Little Leatherwood. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Saturday Evening from 6 p.m. till 9 p.m.

Smith, Bridget  
Bridget Darlene Smith, 38, of Hazard, passed away on April 22, at the Hazard Medical Center. She was the daughter of Billy Smith and Brenda Hurt Smith. She is preceded in death by one brother: Ricky Darrell Smith. She is also survived by one son Donovan Shane Smith; half-sister: Tonya Oaks; fiancé: Jeff Couch and a host of aunts, uncles, family & friends. Arrangements were handled by Maggard's Mountain View Chapel, where family received friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, April 24, and funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 25, with Joseph Engle officiating. Interment was at the Smith-Gayheart Cemetery at Lost Creek.

Stamper, Robert  
Robert Lee Stamper, 61, of Austin, Indiana, passed away Sunday, April 26, at Hazard ARH in Hazard, KY. He was the son of the late Will Stamper and Jewel Hensley Cole. He is survived by one daughter: Gay Nell Stamper; one son: Robert Lacy Stamper; two brothers: L.D. Combs and Lacy Combs and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Arrangements were handled by the Maggard Brothers Funeral Home in Hazard, where family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, and funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 30, with Rev. Walter Hughes officiating. Interment was at the Neace Cemetery at Sixteen Mile Creek.

Stidham, Eugene  
Eugene Stidham, 85, of Frankfort, passed away Saturday, April 18, at the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, Ky. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Imojean Stollings Stidham. Mr. Stidham was a retired brakeman for the CSX Railroad and was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean War. Mr. Stidham was a member of the Frankfort First Assembly of God. He is survived by two daughters, Gwen Neff and Pat Brown, both of Frankfort; two brothers, Daryl Stidham and Arlie Stidham of Busy, KY; two sisters, Thelma Baker of Austin, IN and Dianna Howard of Busy, KY. Other survivors include three grandchildren, Jonathan Brown, Kristal Ueltschi and Matthew Brown; three great-grandchildren, Kirsten Stacy, Kameron Stacy and Carson Brown. Visitation will be 11 am to 1 pm, Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Clark Legacy Center, 3000 Versailles Road, Frankfort, KY. Funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Family requests no flowers.
