Mearl Miller

Mearl Miller, 85, of Hazard, passed away Thursday, Feb. 6, at the Hazard ARH. She was the daughter of the late Willie Watts and the late Fannie Napier Watts. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Farmer Miller; one son, Gary Miller; one daughter, Tammy Miller McIntosh; two brothers, Dan and Gene Watts; and five grandchildren, Darrell Miller, Jr., Pam Allen, Christopher Johnson, Scotty Blank, and Jose Brian Zavalla.

She is survived by nine daughters, Ruby Neace, Elva and Roy Johnson, Judy and David Combs, Joanie Allen, Dianne and Michael Bowling, Brenda Napier, Sherry and Kenneth Amis, Sondra Jackson, and Peggy and Keven Miller; six sons, Alvin and Connie Miller, Calvin and Janet Miller, Darrell Miller, Timmy and Millie Miller, Keith and Charlene Miller, and Shannon and Shawna Miller; one sister, Emily Watts; three brothers, Junior Watts, Stanley Watts, and Lonnie Watts; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday Feb. 9. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday Feb. 10, with Roy Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Mud Lick Cemetery in Grapevine.
