Tyler Michael Pearldon Pratt, 9, of Hazard, passed away on May, 5, at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tenn. He was the son of Michael Dean Pratt and Eulene Caudill. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Pearl Pratt; two aunts, Ruth Ann Pratt and Teresa Pratt; his maternal grandfather, Roger Joseph, and maternal great-grandparents, Corbin and Mary Stacy.
Tyler enjoyed sports, fishing, big trucks, riding ATVs, and math.
He is survived by his father, Michael Pratt and stepmother, Vivian, of Fourseam; his mother, Eulene Caudill and stepfather, Brent, of Cornettsville; one brother, Jimmy Vanover, of Fourseam; three sisters, Michaela Pratt, of Willard, Callie Pratt, of Knott County, and Cameron Phillips and Darren, of Cornettsville; maternal grandfather, Donald Clark, of Yeadiss; paternal grandmother, Delphia Pratt, of Viper; maternal grandmother, Tammy Joseph, of Viper; step-grandparents, Valerie and Elbert Caudill, of Viper; step-grandmother, Lula Watts, of Fourseam; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Arrangements were handled by Engle-Bowling Funeral Home in Hazard, where the family received friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, May 9, and funeral services were held at 12 p.m., Saturday, May 10, with Kenny Salmons and Larry Gross officiating. The Caudill Cemetery in Big Branch was the place of burial.
