Jimmy Ray Smith, 53, of Bonnyman, passed away Wednesday, July 16, at his residence.
He was the son of the late Ralph Smith and the late Nannie Miller Smith. He is also preceded in death by one brother, Terry Wayne Smith, and father-in-law, Bucky Morris.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie renee Morris Smith; one daughter, Tiffany Michelle Mullins, of Bonnyman; two sons, James Aaron Smith and Tyler Wayne Mullins, both of Bonnyman; three sisters, Linda Jean Combs and Mike Melton, of Chavies, Sheila and Ronnie Miller, of Chavies, and Teresa and Mark Garry, of Chavies; mother-in-law, Phyllis Morris; brother-in-law, Steven and Derika Morris; eight special nieces, Tiffany Turner, Nikia Whitaker, Chantal Pittman, Chloe Morris, Jamara Prater, Heather Garry, Jamie Davidson, and Ashley Spencer; five special nephews, R.D. Smith, Joshua Garry, Devon Morris, Darron Morris, and Zane Galloway; and a host od aunts, uncles, great-nieces, great0nephews, family, and friends.
Arrangements were handled by Maggard's Mountain View Chapel in Hazard, where the family received friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, July 19, and funeral services were held at 12 p.m., Sunday, July 20, with Rev. Bill Gambill officiating.
