Penny (Embry) Yanky, age 51 of Pickerington, Ohio, died Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Echo Manor Healthcare Center. Penny was formerly of Pleasureville. Penny was preceded in death by her father, James Freemont Embry and brother, Curt Embry.
She is survived by her husband, John Yanky of North Olmsted, Ohio; one daughter: Jennifer Jeffrey (Randy) of Cleveland, Ohio; one son: Johnny Yanky of North Olmsted, Ohio; her mother: Wanda Beutel (Bobby) of Eminence, one sister: Libby Stumler (Rick) of Floyd Knobs, Ind.; two brothers: David Embry of Louisville, and Doug Beutel (Carrie) of La Grange; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 30, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Bro. Andy McDonald, pastor of Shelbyville Baptist Church, will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Interment will be in Pleasureville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Stumler, Tyler Stumler, Jordan Embry, George Childress, Thomas Disch and Michael Disch.
