Bonnie Lynn, age 40, of Port Royal, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Daughter of the late Hazel and Randolph Chilton, she was a homemaker. Bonnie was famous for "Bonnie's Bucket List," made up of all the things she wanted to accomplish before her passing. She was able to travel across the country and meet some of her favorite people. She was crowned "Forever Beauty Queen" and "Lifetime Miss America." Bonnie was a member of Port Royal United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Lynn, Port Royal; dear friends: Bruce and Tiffany Carnal and family of Lacie; and her father, Claude Birch, Sr., (Mary), Frankfort; sisters: Louise Ferriell (Donnie), Louisville; Sue Creekmore (Edward), Pendleton; Betty Holeman (John), Shelbyville; Tammy Sue Cramer, Ohio; Angie Lawton, Indiana; brothers: Tim Chilton (Angie), Texas; Chris Birch (Patti), LaGrange; John Birch (Kim), Louisville; Steven Birch, Henry County; CJ Birch (Kay), Louisville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Claude Chilton and her birth mother, Betty Mahuron.
Pallbearers were Chris Birch, Justin Birch, Jermy Ferriell, William Carnal, John Birch and Benjamin Birch.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Ron Laughlin officiated. Interment was in Port Royal Cemetery. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
