Carlos Robles Garcia, age 52, of Eminence died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012. He was born in Sonora, Mexico, and was a self-employed construction worker. He was a member of the Catholic Church of the Annunciation in Shelbyville.

He is survived by his wife: Norma Angelica Robles of Eminence; his mother, Guadalupe Garcia of Eminence; three sons: Carlos Ernesto Robles Avila of Pleasureville, Alexis Robles Avila and Juan Manuel Robles Avila both of Eminence; one daughter, Daisy Robles Avila of Eminence; two brothers: Misael Robles Garcia of Rosarito, Mexico, and Hector Manuel Robles Garcia of San Diego, Calf.; two sisters: Maria Robles Garcia of Sinaloa, Mexico, and Cristina Perez Robles of Eminence; four grandchildren: Charlie Robles, Isabella Robles, Valerie Ortega, and Amelie Robles; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death his father, Ernesto Robles Zuniga.
Funeral services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the Catholic Church of the Annunciation in Shelbyville with Father Mike Tobin officiating. Interment was in Eminence Cemetery. Pallbearers were Heliodoro Avila, Jose Avila, Jose Ortega, Alexis Robles, Carlos Robles, and Juan M. Robles.
