Lucille (Long) Parrish, age 95 of Eminence died Friday, May 3, 2013, in Lexington. She was a seamstress and worked for 27 years with Baptist Association at Cedarmore. She was a member of the Eminence United Pentecostal Church. She was the daughter of the late Edward "Ned" and Hallie Mae (Kelly) Long.

She is survived by one daughter: Wanda Beckley of Lexington ; five grandchildren: Jodi Peterson, Vincent Beckley, Mona Moore, Kaelan Beckley & Kevin Beckley; 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Marvin Long, Eminence. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Otho Parrish; a daughter, Pearl Parrish; 3 sisters, Viola Aldridge, Leora Parrish and Elizabeth Tingle and 2 brothers, Herman and Ester Long.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 8) at Eminence United Pentecostal Church, officiated by Bro. Robert Eades, pastor of Eminence United Pentecostal Church and Bro. Louis Edday of Eminence. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at Eminence United Pentecostal Church.
Pallbearers will be Vincent, Kevin and Kaelan Beckley, Justin and John Peterson, and Jonathan Bates.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Eminence United Pentecostal Church.
