Sarah Frances Tingle Whitcomb Stamper, age 82 of Shelbyville, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Roy Beckham and Sara Elizabeth Vest Tingle.
She is survived by her daughters: Connie Bolin, Shelbyville; Beverly Newton, Bagdad.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Hall-Taylor Funeral Home in Shelbyville. The Rev. Brad Jennings officiated. Interment was in Grove Hill Cemetery. Visitation was held from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at the funeral home.
