Wilma Lee Linker, age 89, of Louisville, passed away Friday, Oct. 13, 2017. She was born July 14, 1928, to the late Printice Kelley and Margaret Roberts. She was a graduate of Midway University. Having a strong work ethic, she worked as a secretary for John W. Coomes in his law practice. Later she worked for Shelby County Rural Electric. In addition to, she worked alongside her late husband, Albert Linker Sr. at their business, Linker's Professional Insulators. She and Al were members of Wildwood Country Club for many years where they enjoyed golf, ballroom dancing, and many friendships. 
She is survived by her son, A. Tom Linker Jr. (Lien); three sisters, Myrtle Ann Sparrow, Alma R. James, Mary Lou Spears; grandchildren, Dung Huynh (Thuy Dang), Sean A. Linker, Gabriel B. Linker (Mai K. Linker); several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.
Visitation was held Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Louisville. Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. at Highlands Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to South East Christian Missions (www.southeastchristian.org/giving).
