Victoria Rae (Fornash ) Loechle, age 71 of New Castle, died Sunday, Sept. 9, at Baptist Northeast Hospital in La Grange. Daughter of the late Sherman and Ann (Turner) Fornash, she was a native of Erlanger, a former hair stylist and worked as the lead inspector at Jenner Engraving for 25 years. Victoria was a member of St. John the Evangelist Parrish in Carrollton where she served as Eucharistic Minister. She was a loving mother and proud grandmother.
She is survived by two sons: John David Loechle (Kimberly), Crestwood; Ralph Errick Loechle (Becky Ann), New Castle; one brother, Thomas Fornash, Carrollton; four grandchildren: Madison, Joshua, Josef and Kara Loechle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Les Loechle.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at St. John the Evangelist Parrish (503 5th Street) in Carrollton. Father Davy Kavungal, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in New Castle Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 12) at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home and from 10 a.m until service time Thursday at the church.
