Mark A. Day, age 52 of Eminence, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Baptist Hospital Northeast. He was employed with Integris Metals. He was a member of the National Wild Turkey Foundation and the Henry County Chapter of Kentucky Ducks Unlimited. He attended Sulphur Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Day, Eminence; two sons: Alex Day and Michael Day, both of Eminence; two daughters: Megan Day, Eminence; and Christi Parker (Paul), Shelbyville; his mother, Geneva Cunningham, Louisville; two sisters: Judy Day, Louisville and Linda Allgeier (Raymond) Smithfield; and three grandsons. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Day, and one nephew, Paul Allgeier.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 28) at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Bro. Timmy Purvis and Pastor Michael Fitzgerald will officiate. Interment will be in Eminence Cemetery. Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at the funeral home.
