Mary Rose (Hall) Barmore, age 86 of Smithfield, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Jewish Shelbyville Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Isaac and Anna Rose (Gisiger) Hall, retired from the United States Postal Service and was a member of Eminence Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the American Jersey Cattle Association.
She is survived by one son, Joe Barmore and wife, Sharon, Smithfield; one daughter, Mary E. Parker and husband, Stan, Ashland; and granddaughter, Samantha Jo Bonner and husband, Bryan, Georgetown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis J. Barmore.
Memorial services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Eminence Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Terry Johnson, pastor, officiated. Visitation was from noon until the time of service on Saturday at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Eminence Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
