Verlin O. "Dick" Dickman

Verlin O. (Dick) Dickman, age 80 of Pleasureville, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, and was the son of the late O.G. Dickman and Elizabeth P. Tyler Dickman. He was a drywall finisher, a farmer and member of Southeast Christian Church. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by two sons: Steven J. Dickman, Clarksville, Ind.; Gary K. Dickman (Tabitha), Louisville; six grandchildren: Steven J. Summer, Kala, Keith, Karema and Kamerynn; two sisters; Thelma Kohler, Mechanicsburg, Pa., and Darlene Clingan, Lewisberry, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 1) at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Brother Fred Snider will officiate. Interment will be in Grub-Ridge Cemetery.
