LORENZA DOW HANDLEY, 95, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by his grandson, Pastor Christopher Fulks. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born May 24, 1920 in Pratt, W.Va., a son of the late C. F. "Buck" and Perl Steele Handley. He was a World War II veteran of the US Army, a member of the V.F.W. # 9738, Huntington, and a retired employee of H. K. Porter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ferra Inez Handley. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Rabert Fulks of Barboursville; four grandchildren, Josie, Lisa, Amy, Christopher; nine great- grandchildren, Bryson, Anna, Joseph, Allen, Chloe, Sara, Meredith, Cody, and Caden. HENNING, JOAN M. - Adrian  
JOAN M. HENNING, age 83, of Adrian, Mich., died Saturday, May 21, 2016, at the Lenawee Medical Care Facility in Adrian. She was born December 6, 1932, in Onsted, Michigan, to Richard C. and Marguerite (Jacox) Terry. On October 15, 1966, she married Charles Henning in Morenci. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2014. She attended St. Stephen Lutheran Church, was a member of the Raisin Valley Quilt Guild, Maplewood Seniors and the Saints Alive Choir in West Virginia. Joan raised several foster children, many of whom were infants. She is survived by her children, Christine (Robert) Boardman of Pittsford, Mich., Mary Boren of Huntington and Melinda (Kip) Kelly of Jerome, Michigan; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Susan (Steven) Houser of Aurora, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Charles F. Jermeay and Daniel L. Jermeay; four brothers, Richard and George Terry and two in infancy; and a sister, Diana Dinse. At Joan's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016, at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian, Mich., with Pastor Aaron Jensen officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Lyons Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Thursday at Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian, Mich.
