NEIL BRIAN JEWELL JR., 15, of Canada, Ky., son of Neil Brian Jewell Sr. and the late Bridget Hensley Flynn, died Aug. 28. He was a freshman at Belfry High School and a member of the Big Creek Freewill Baptist Church Youth Group. Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hatfield Funeral Chapel, Toler, Ky. Burial will follow at the Fuller-Thacker Family Cemetery, Thacker Hollow, Canada, Ky. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. JOHNSON, BOBBIE JACK - Proctorville  
BOBBIE JACK JOHNSON, 88, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, W.Va. He was born August 22, 1927, in Gallia County, Ohio, to the late Chancey and Gladys Fulks Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maureen Johnson; one sister, Evelyn Cremeens; two brothers, Chancey Everette Johnson and Charles Ernest Johnson; and two nephews, David Johnson and Mike Johnson. He was a local concrete business owner and attended First Baptist Church of Proctorville. He is survived by one brother, Oris (Ruth) Johnson of Proctorville; six nieces and nephews, Kim (Howie) Damron, Rhonda Lou Bame (Travis) Hignite, Donna (J.E.) Schneider, Derry (Marva) Johnson, Ramona (Larry) Lane and Patty Johnson; and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio, by Pastor Jeff Black and Pastor Mike Smith. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Mercerville, Ohio. Proctorville VFW Post #6878 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington. KEFFER, THOMAS MARK - South Point  
THOMAS MARK KEFFER, 44, of Ironton, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015, at his residence. He was born January 16, 1971, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of James D. Keffer of Ironton and the late Marylu Riggle Keffer. He was an employee of the Wurtland Nursing and Rehab Center. In addition to his father, he is survived by two sisters, Cindy (Alvin) Douglas of St. Cloud, Fla., and Kelly Smoot of Huntington; a brother Randy (Christie) Keffer of South Point, Ohio; and a good friend, Robert Phillips of Ironton. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015, at Cornerstone Bible Church, South Point with Pastor Terry Noble officiating. KILGORE, LINDA - Proctorville  
LINDA KILGORE, 71, of Chesapeake, Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va. She was born November 8, 1943, in Huntington, daughter of the late Denver and Goldie Ferris Harmon. She worked for Huntington Orthopedic Hospital, now called River Park Hospital, for 18 years and Health South for 22 years. She was also a volunteer with Huntington City Mission. She is survived by her husband Robert Parsons; one son, Robert (Christy) Parsons of Chesapeake, Ohio; very special granddaughter Karrah Parsons; her puppy Baby; two siblings, Barbara (Bill) Ward of Chesapeake, Ohio and Frank (Joyce) Harmon of Proctorville, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2015, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Brady Lipscomb officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2015, at the funeral home.
