JORDAN TYLER DINGESS

JORDAN TYLER DINGESS, 23, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., died Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Born in Huntington, W.Va., he was a son of Ira Dingess and his wife Peggy of Huntington, W.Va., and Lisa Robertson of Myrtle Beach and his stepdad Rodney Wilson of Anderson, S.C. Jordan enjoyed paintball, his diesel pickup truck and anything camo. He loved his job as a firefighter with Murrells Inlet/Garden City and Georgetown City Fire Departments. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thelmer Robertson. Surviving in addition to his parents are his brother, Jonathan Dingess and his wife Krystal; a sister, Sarah Dingess; a stepbrother, Curt Davis; a stepsister, Lisa Davis; a niece, Bentli Dingess; grandmother, Joyce Robertson; grandparents, Gilbert and Irene Dingess; a special cousin, Justin Robertson; a special friend, Lakin McCann; uncles, James Keith Dingess and Rodney Robertson; special aunt, Ina Jean Smith; and aunt, Kathy Jean Meeks, and numerous cousins. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2014, at the funeral home.
