RICHARD HENSLEY Obituary
RICHARD E. "DICK" HENSLEY, 87, of Huntington, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 7, 2015, surrounded by family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Monday, March 9, 2015, at Lewis Memorial Baptist Church with Dr. David Lemming officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born September 8, 1927, in Williamson, W.Va., a son of the late Attila Lester Hensley and Vera Dolisca Short Hensley. Dick had a long and colorful life. A big man with a bigger heart, Dick played football for Bear Bryant at the University of Kentucky. He went on to play in the NFL for the Giants, Steelers, and Bears. He was a successful businessman and longtime member of Lewis Memorial Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Norma Jobe Hensley and a host of loving family members and friends. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the Lewis Memorial Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lewis Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements.

Norma sorry for your loss Dick was a great guy who always had a big smile and a quick answer for anything you said to him . We enjoyed having him as car car host on the NR Train and have missed him the last couple I of years
