OPAL MAE FERGUSON

OPAL MAE FERGUSON, 84, of Ona, passed away March 11, 2015. She was born December 24, 1930, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late William Jennings Colegrove and Audra Ardell Simpson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Avery Ferguson; sister Wanda Drake; brother Jack Colegrove; and son-in-law William Layne. She is survived by one daughter Rhonda Layne; two sons and daughters-in-law Larry and Karen Adkins, and Rodney and Holly Adkins; one sister Donna White; one sister-in-law Annie Colegrove; one brother-in-law Hank Drake; six grandchildren Brooke Haggerty (Curry), John Adkins, Billy Layne (Jamie), Jamie Adkins, Bobby Layne, and Tyler Morris; two great grandchildren Haley Haggerty and Allie Adkins; and friends Imogene Richardson and Lovena Ferguson. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2015, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will be in Arthur Cemetery, Ona.
