Sandy was a very dear friend and mentor to me, and I will forever be grateful to her for all she meant to me. Now and then her picture will come up on my Google device in my kitchen reminding me of the many good times we had at APCE conventions together with Estelle, Martha Bess, Martha Stevenson, Jocelyn, and others. What a fun time we had together each year at our "reunion." I extend my deepest sympathy to Cecil and Leslie and family as I know they continue to miss her...as I do. Bless you all and may God commit to you all your good memories as you rejoice in her life well-lived.

I learned more about Christian Education from sitting next to Sandy at lunch than I learned in any seminary class room. Thank you for sharing her with so many of us who treasured her friendship. Rev. Diane Hutchins, Immanuel Presbyterian Church, McLean, Virginia

Mrs. Jividen came to Falls Church Presbyterian church when I was in middle school. She led a retreat I participated in. M mom and Mrs. Jividen hit it off and became good friends. The world was made a better place because of her and many youth benefited from her knowledge, humor, laughter and devotion to Christ.
