Christopher Clutter Obituary

COWDEN - Christopher Gene Clutter 18, of Champaign, IL, formerly of Cowden, IL, passed away at 11:30 AM Monday June 6, 2011 in Provena Hospital in Champaign, IL Christopher was born Nov. 6, 1992 in Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IL the son of Denise Clutter. He is survived by his mother Denise and special friend John Stevens; sister Tara (Eli) Harms of Effingham, IL; grandparents: Milton and Sandy Pettyjohn of Cowden; aunts: Yvette Pettyjohn of Mattoon, IL, Dawn (Richard) Jones of Cowden; two cousins; three second cousins. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents: Lester and Irma Sarver and Curt and Freda Pettyjohn; great great grandparents: Vern and Birdie Sarver and Birt and Linnie Anderson. Christopher was a very special young man and was a resident of the Swann Special Care Center in Champaign, IL. The staff there provided very special care and love to Christopher and much appreciated support to our Family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday June 9, 2011 in Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Cowden, IL. Pastor Tim Boyd will officiate. The family requests casual attire. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Buchanan Cemetery near Herrick, IL. Memorials: Ronald McDonald House in Springfield, IL.
