Daniel Ray Walton

MOUNT PULASKI - Daniel Ray Walton, 62, of Mantachie, MS, formerly of Mt. Pulaski, IL, passed away on Monday April 5, 2010 at North Mississippi Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. Mr. Walton lived all over the U.S. working as a company manager and glass installer specializing in windshields. He later moved to Mantachie, MS where he lived for the last 15 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Mt. Pulaski. Daniel Ray Walton was born September 17, 1947, in Lincoln, IL, to Harold Avery Walton, Sr. and Wilma Maybelle Moore Walton. Surviving Mr. Walton are his son, Ryan Walton of Mantachie, MS; daughter, Tara Bell of Springfield, IL; two brothers, Harold A. Walton, Jr. and George (Sharon) Walton of Mt. Pulaski, IL; granddaughter Kaitlyn Walton of Mantachie, MS; nephew, Chris (Diana) Walton of Mt. Pulaski, IL; niece, Jennifer (Bradney) Luckhart of Lincoln, IL; three great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services for Mr. Walton will be held at a later date. Obituary written by family members.
