Marcia and Family,
Dad was disappointed that he could not make it over to the services. He was remembering the good times they had as kids on the farm and how ornery they both were. (surely not!) Our hearts go out to you all. He will be truly missed.

Marcia and Family,
My thoughts and prayers our with you and your family. I loved as a kid going to the family reunions and hearing Gene's stories. I always thought him quite handsome. He was always known as Gene (Arrow) that is how I thought it spelled as a kid. My mother told me of Gene's passing and I asked her how his middle name was spelled and she said Errol,(neddless to say I was in shock at the spelling). (My mother Harriett Reeter Schad)

Sug and I want to send to you our condolences. As hard as it is to lose a husband and a father, it is so much harder to have to watch them suffer.

HI MARSHA. CARL AND I ARE IN FLORIDA FOR THREE MONTHS BUT JUST NOTICED THAT ERROL PASSED AWAY RECENTLY. WE ARE SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THIS HAPPENING. DID NOT KNOW HE HAD BEEN ILL AS I GUESS WE HAVENT KEPT IN TOUCH FOR A FEW YEARS HAVE WE? DONT KNOW WHERE THE TIME GOES BUT IT CERTAINLY FLIES ANYMORE. GOOD LUCK MARSHA IN WHATEVER YOU DECIDE TO DO AND MAYBE WE CAN KEEP IN TOUCH WHEN YOU GET ANYTIME AT ALL. OK. KEEPING YOU IN OUR PRAYERS. JEAN AND CARL NICKELS
