Glennon Roth Obituary

DECATUR - Glennon H. Roth, 73 of Decatur died 1:10 a.m. Thursday May 12, 2011 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday May 15th at the GT Church Woodland Chapel Facility, 2710 E. Lost Bridge Road with Pastor Todd Tuggle officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to Hidden Valley Community Church. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of arrangements. Glennon was born February 19, 1938 in St. Louis, MO., son of Meinrad H. and Mable Strain Roth. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Glennon married Kelly J. Carpenter October 11, 1979. He was a member of Hidden Valley Community Church. Surviving are his wife, Kelly, sons, Dennis, Timothy, Mark (Belinda) and Scott Roth, daughter, Andrea Sheets, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, brother, Jack (Marge) Roth. Preceded by his parents, sister, DeAnna Theresa Layton. Glennon was a great husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed.
