Lois Kruenegel

EFFINGHAM - Lois Kruenegel, 84, of Effingham died Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. Lois was born January 4, 1927 in Vandalia, the daughter of Louis and Goldie Dulgar Diveley. She married Warren Halford and later married Earl Kruenegel, both have preceded her in death. She is survived by her five children, Karren Suchor, Champaign, Dale and Janet Halford, Williamsville, Mike and Mary Halford, Vandalia, Marsha and Tom Grove, Champaign, Jill and John Staff, Walton, KY; thirteen grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty and Louis Crawford, St. Elmo and Janet and Jerry Jackson, St. Louis, MO. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., Monday, May 30, 2011 at Centenary United Methodist Church, Effingham followed by the funeral services at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
