Marie A. Racki

TAYLORVILLE - Marie A. Racki, 97, of Taylorville died at 11:20 am Sunday, May 22, 2011 at her residence. She was born July 28, 1913 in Clarksdale the daughter of George and Delia Russell Nagle. On October 3, 1936 she married Anthony J. "Tony" Racki at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylorville. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2004. Mrs. Racki was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. Surviving are her son: Dr. Anthony J. Racki and wife Barbara of Berlin, WI; daughter: Mary Ann Fidler and husband Robert of Pasadena, CA; 4 Grandchildren: Anthony Racki III and wife Amy of Madison, WI, Lauren A. Welch and husband Mike of Madison, WI, Gary C. Moss and wife Lisa of Henderson, NV, and Kristen Thorell and Husband Keith of Altadena, CA. 6 Great Grandchildren: Curtis Moss, Randal Moss, Taylor Thorell, Charlie Thorell, William Anthony Thorell, and Jacob Anthony Racki. Sisters: Ruth Goebel and Mary Catherine Nagel both of Springfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother: Lola Durbin Nagle, Brothers: Pat Nagle, George Nagle, and Leo Nagle Sisters: Sisters: Lucille Nagle and Margaret Ann Reeves. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylorville with Father Alan Hunter officiating. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
