Mildred Graves Obituary

DECATUR - Mildred L. Graves, 97, of Decatur, IL passed away at 2:08 P.M., Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Fair Havens Christian Home, Decatur, IL. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church or Alzheimer's Association. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, will be handling the arrangements. Mildred was born December 15, 1913, in Willow Lake, SD, the daughter of Albert W. and Nellie (DeWitt) Logan. She married Harold Graves and he preceded her in death. Mildred was a faithful member of Grace United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters Geraldine Marchisello of Decatur, IL, Lurlene McQuality and husband James of Denver, CO, Phyllis Perry and husband Wilbert of Vacaville, CA, Gayle Lockhart of Issaquah, WA; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren; sisters Gladys Schuck of Riverside, CA, Hazel Foiles of Clark, SD, Bonnie Surdez of Riverside, CA; brothers Donald Logan of Lake Norden, SD, Kenneth Logan of Clark, SD, Byrl of Clark, SD, Orvin Logan of OR. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold, grandson Dennis and brother Marvin. The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff at Fair Havens for all their loving care. Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com. To the family of Mrs Mildred Graves, You have out sincere condolences for the loss of you mother and grandmother. We had the privlege of knowing Mrs Graves as a neighbor for over 40 years.
