Philip Dillinger Obituary

TAYLORVILLE - Philip Joseph Dillinger, 65, died Saturday, April 30, 2011 in Decatur Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday May 4, 2011 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua with Rev. Randy West officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service time. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Moweaqua with full military honors by American Legion Post #370. Philip was born November 3, 1945 in Centralia, Illinois, the son of Philip R. and Gail L. (Sheaffer) Dillinger. He proudly served his country in the Navy. He married Becky Sue Tankersley in Taylorville on June 6, 1995. She preceded him in death on November 18, 2009. Philip was a truck driver and route salesman for the Butternut Bread Company. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and life member of the Moose Lodge #1219 of Centralia. Surviving are his step-daughter Denise and husband Anthony Teague of Findlay; sister Sandra Sue Dillinger of East Alton and his granddaughter Kalynn. Preceded in death are his wife and parents.
