Dad:
It has been nearly 24 weeks since we lost you. As we prepare for Thanksgiving, the first in my life without you, we make the best of things. Above all, we give thanks for the honor of knowing you and having you lead our family through the best and worst times. There is not one second, minute, hour, or day you are not in our minds and hearts. I will do my best to live by your example. Your nobility, work ethic, love of family, fairness, and never ending support in the darkest of times is greatly missed but rest assured we do our best to emulate the best of you. I love you more than I can ever express and will see you again some day. Until then, know that we live each day with you in our hearts and we are assuaged in the knowledge that God willing, we will reunite.
I thank all who took the time to write and remember my father. His greatness was well known to us all who had the good fortune to meet him. Let us all given thanks to God for all our blessings, among them, my father.

It was always a pleasure to work with Alberto. He was a quiet and unassuming man who did his job well without complaint. His work ethic was admirable.
