CANNER, ARLENE - North Miami Beach  
CANNER, ARLENE, 89, of Miami, Florida, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016. Loving Mother of Caryn (Larry) Schwartz, Felice (Dennis) Brandt, & Wayne (Nancy) Canner. Cherished Grandmother of Scot (Stacey), Jeremy, Justin (Elissa), Troy (Brett), Heather & Lauren and cherished Great Grandmother of Logan, Harper, Braxton, Mya & Isabella. Arlene moved from Brooklyn to Miami Beach, attended the University of Miami and met the love of her life, Irving, to whom she was married for 54 years until his death in 2001. Arlene worked for 22 years as managing stenographer for Dr. Joel Dennis. She was one of the founding members of the Samuel Scheck Hillel Community Day School. Arlene was an active member of ORT and the editor of their newspaper. Our special thanks to Claudette, Therese, Beranie, Joyce, Paulette, and Acela for the loving care and companionship they provided. Arlene was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all. Chapel services will be held TODAY, May 23, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel, 18840 W. Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, FL 33180, followed by interment at Mt. Nebo, 5505 NW 3rd St, Miami, FL 33126. Donations in Arlene's memory to Beth Torah, 20350 NE 26th Ave, Miami, FL 33180.

Carlucci, Anthony James - Miami  
Anthony James Carlucci (Tony), 91, of Miami, FL and Ormond Beach, FL, passed away on February 6, 2016 at Halifax Health Hospice in Ormond Beach. A Celebration of His Life will be held at Visitation Catholic Church, 100 N.E. 191 Street, Miami FL on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at 10:00 AM. Survivors include his three children, Barbara (Frank) Grieco of Ormond Beach, Jo-Anne Carlucci of Miami and Stephen (Sherry) Carlucci and grandson, Sean of Coral Springs; three sisters, Angela Landro (NY), Bessie Roach(Hialeah) and Camilla Melley (Joe) (Miami); and loving companion Ouida Lee Fatt. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Joseph (Agnes) and Michael Carlucci.

Collazo, Vladimir (Manny) - Miami  
COLLAZO, VLADIMIR (Manny) 54 of North Miami Beach, died unexpectedly May 16,2016. A devoted husband, loving father and proud grandfather to two loving grand-children. He served his community as part of the FDOT Road Ranger unit for over 10 years. With hard work and determination, he along his wife created an extremely close-knit, loving family which was his greatest pride and joy. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Maria Collazo, his children Alexander (Barbara) and Jonathan, his two grandchildren Adrian and Gabriella, his sister Aurora and mothers Coralia Collazo and Maria Ortiz.

Conviser, Cantor David - Miami  
CONVISER, CANTOR DAVID, born on April 28, 1918 passed away on May 24, 2016. He was a graduate of the Juilliard School of Music. He earned his B.S.M., M.A., and Honorary Doctorate degrees at Hebrew Union College School of Sacred Music and joined the faculty as Choral Director. He was a member of the Robert Shaw Chorale which toured extensively and recorded for R.C.A. Victor. He was a member of the Bach Aria Group and was Music Director of the Brandeis Institute in California. Cantor Conviser was Music Director at Shaker Village where he developed interest in the remarkable Shakers. He was a life member of the National Federation of Temple Youth and was on the faculty of the New World School of the Arts in Miami. He is Cantor Emeritus of Temple Beth Sholom where he resided as Cantor for 30 years. Survived by his loving wife Eve, daughters Jamie, Susan Mattucci (Frank), the late Robert Conviser and several nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed and remembered for his warmth and humor.
