Joan Wilson (Joanie) was the most wonderful, warm and caring person I've ever had the privilege to know. I'm deeply saddened to hear of her passing, and I wanted to express my deepest sympathies to the family. Joan will always be remembered for the important role she played in both mine and my two brothers early development. If only she could see us now, she'd be so proud.
Joan was the kind of person who lived for those she loved, and those she loved remember. My family is forever grateful for the person Joan was, and our hearts are with the family in this time of sorrow.

Joan was a very inspirational and loved person to our family. She took care of my siblings Jamey Ballo, Vance Ballo, and Nick Russo. She played a role in their early childhood and would be so proud to see what they have accomplished and for that my mother Donna Russo (Ballo) is forever grateful. My prayers go out to Jay, Jim, Bill, and Cathy. She was an angel here on earth and for that she will be forever missed and loved.

Joan was a very important and inspirational person to my family. She took care of my siblings Jamey Ballo, Vance Ballo, and Nick Russo. She was a part in their early development and for that I know my mother Donna Russo(Ballo) is forever grateful. She always put others first and loved helping out in her church community. St. David Catholic School is a small tight nit family and we all our in mourning, but know she was an angel here on earth and will be looking over all of us. I extend my prayers to her husband Jay and her three children. My grandparents Judy and Mike Macherone, also thank her for all the wonderful things she did for our family. She will be missed and always remembered. Love, Jillana Ballo

Jay, Jim, Bill, and Cathy- it was so warming to see you today even under the circumstances- but I know Joan would want it that way. She would be so proud of Jamey, Vance, and Nick.
It was because of her loving care that they had such a wonderful head start in life. We will always be grateful...

A memory from high school of Joan as the always kind and sweet person who helped me feel welcome. An angel, even in adolescence just forming those beautiful and very well used wings to help so many others throughout her life, and now in heaven, [surely to help even more !!].

We loved, cherished, and will miss our "Aunt" Joan so much. She began as a loving caretaker to my babies, and later became a godmother to my son, cherished friend, and "family". She always had such a positive perspective on life. She delivered the kindest of words with such a gentle voice but had a true gift of listening. Never have I known a woman that glowed with so much beauty from the inside out. Her bright eyes, radiant smile, and heart of gold could light up any room. She will always be in our hearts. May God bless her and her lovely family always.

Our Condolences go out to Jay, Jim, Bill, Cathy, and the entire Wilson and Hyde families. Aunt Joan will hold a very special place in our hearts. She is our angel. We were so fortunate to have lived next door to all of you for over 20 years and most of all we were so blessed to have our "sweet boy" Brayden been able to be in the most precious hands for the first three years of his life. We are grateful forever. We love you all. Faith, Pete, Jayme, Jodi, and Brayden

Jay, Cathy, Jimmy and Billy,
You are very much in our hearts in prayers. What a beautiful angel here on earth and now in Heaven. Joan will be with us always.
As Christians we know and believe that in death life is changed, not taken away. Death holds the true personal reward of Joan's life here on earth. She now has new beauty in the ineffable peace and love of God. And her love for you and the family goes on.
Love, Don and Lee Condon
