I met Sylvia as well as Kim & Scott through my efforts to help put Dick Hickox in The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame where he belonged. It was a distinct pleasure to work with them all and to assure them the honor in this endeavor was most certainly deserved. Their devotion was a pleasure to witness. GodSpeed to DIck & Sylvia.

Kim & Scott, I'm so glad to have finally met your Mom a few years ago. The time with her then was a continuous party from arrival to departure. Her presence & grace made one so comfortable around her. Her energy level, warmth, smile, laughter/giggle & love of life was welcoming and enveloped the whole scene when with her. Conversations on the phone since then further linked our lives sharing current and past events. She'll be missed, but remain active in my mind through my memories. You were blessed to have her as a Mom. Relish your memories and let them comfort going forward. Celebrate her! /Clyde

Dear Kim and Scott, you are both in our prays during this difficult time. Your mother was a beloved member of the Cobra family at South Miami Senior. We were so happy to see her return with us after the loss of your Dad. She always had a big smile on her face, and so full of life. The faculty, and students, that were touched by her presence will remember her for ever. She is missed by all, and will always be in our thoughts, along with your beloved Dad. Dear Kim & Scott---We cannot relate how saddened we were to hear about your Mom. We only met her on that special weekend about four years ago now when you Dad was inducted into The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. We were gratified that she got to experience that before she left us. It was very apparent how proud she was that weekend. GODSPEED to both Sylvia & Dick to rest in peace. Scott and Kim, words can not describe how sadden we are at the loss of your mom. Even though I only met her a few years ago, I knew from the beginning that she was a caring, thoughtful and wonderful person. Kurt will always cherish the wonderful memories he had living next door. I was so sad to hear about your Mom. She was one of my very best grade-school friends in Painted Post, New York. I spent many happy hours at her house. This world is a better place because she walked through it and Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel.
